“Nepal’s Constitution Making Process and its Challenges”
featuring
Honorable Dhan Raj Gurung,
member of the Constituent Assembly of Nepal as the chief guest and
Mr. Bhagawan Prasad Tripathi,
Chairperson of Nepal Human Development and Anti-corruption Group on
Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00PM.
The event will be held at
Himalayan Yak
72-20 Roosevelt Ave, Jackson Heights, NY 11372
Please mark your calendar; details to follow.
The featured discussion will be preceded by a brief information session on Machine Readable Passport (MRP) and NRN ID Cards. There seem to be some questions and confusions about the new policy announcement by the Government of Nepal recently regarding the phasing-out of the hand-written passport and replacing it with MRP as well as about the two types of NRN ID cards that the government has started issuing them to NRNs and PNOs. This session will start 2 PM, which will be followed immediately by main part of the interaction program.
Join us for this very special community event. Please arrive early, as seating is limited.
