Concert and DJ night for Medical assistance to Nepal.

As we know Sahayeta.org is one of the popular organizations serving Nepalese and Bhutanese community since last couple of years and this year for the first time they organized Blood drive Program in ANA 2009, which was a grand success. Just few months back on April 5^th in partnership with Davis Street Family Resource Center, Sahayeta.Org organized a Health Fair for the Himalayan Community. It was funded by a DJ night held by Sahayeta.Org one month prior and a grant from Samuel Merritt University. They had provided health care and health screening to over 100 individuals.

From the beginning they are focusing specially health care of community, now they are planning to support Medical help to Nepal as well and soon Nisha Thapa Medical coordinator of sahayeta.org is flying to Nepal with her Professor in this Aug for several weeks to provide medical care and to form a partnership for future projects. So Sahayeta.org is planning on having a fund raising night in San Francisco on Aug 1st to buy medical supplies and equipment. 100% of the proceeds will be used to help most needy in Nepal. SO far they have raised about $2000 and their goal is to raise another $3000. Let’s hope that many people will show up during the fund raising event. Your presence and support will bring many hope and Medical assistance to our Country Nepal.
