Time to celebrate! Mark your calendars for a day-long event on February 14, 2010 for Tibetan New Year (LOSAR) & Valentine’s Day celebrations with traditional ceremonies during the day and a Losar Love Fest dinner & dance party in the evening.

Join us on this major Tibetan traditional celebration & welcome the Metal-Tiger Year 2137 together!

Happy New Year also to Chinese & Vietnamese communities who will be celebrating their new year on the same day this year!

PROGRAM LOSAR CEREMONY

When: February 14, 2010 Sunday 10am – 3pm

Where: Berkeley Marina (near Hs. Lordships Restaurant)

What: Traditional Tibetan New Year ceremonial chants led by Gyutho & Nechung Center monks

Tibetan incense burning ceremony

Pot-luck luncheon - Time to show off your cooking talents!

Fun games and activities - not to be missed!

Traditional Tibetan circle dances led by local musicians
