NAC changed its name to NRN-N C C of America

The Board of Directors of Nepalese Americas Council (NAC) approved to change the name of the organization to NRN National Coordination Council of USA (NRNNCC of USA). NAC had been functioning as a NRN Association in USA since 2003. NAC was founded in 1991 with a similar vision to cooperate, collaborate and unite Nepali Organizations in North America. It had over 30 member organizations from US and Canada. Effective immediately, the organization will be called NRN National Coordination Council of USA (NRN NCC of USA) and will continue to function with the same vision of cooperation and collaboration among Nepalese in United States of America.

A bylaws committee has been setup in the Chairmanship of Dr. Prahlad Pant, and other members in the committee are Dr. Ambika P. Adhikari, Dr. Tara Niraula, Mr. Mukesh Singh, Dr. Bidya Ranjeet, Ms. Bishnu Thapa, and Mr. Girija Gautam. Dr. Binod Shah and Dr. Rajendra K. Shrestha will work with the committee to provide them necessary consultation to complete task within 60 days.

USA has been playing an active role for the interest of Non Resident Nepalis and People of Nepali Origin for a long time. The organization is committed to carry on such activities in coming days.
