Call for Articles for 4th NRN Conference Souvenir

Call for Articles,

On behalf of Souvenir & Articles Committee for the upcoming Fourth Regional NRN Conference to be held in Houston, Texas, USA on May 28-30, 2010, I would like to invite you to submit articles for publication in SOUVENIR of the conference. The theme of the conference is “Channeling Knowledge and Investments for Nepal’s Rapid Development”. As it is a global event that attracts attentions of NRNs living all over the world, the SOUVENIR will offer an opportunity for your articles to reach readers from every corner around the globe. While we welcome any potential articles from the broader topics of interest to the NRNs, priority will be given to those written around the following themes: NRN Contributed Projects (existing and possible); NRN-initiated Philanthropies (existing and possible); NRN-initiated Businesses (existing and possible); Dual Citizenship; The Constitution of Nepal and issues of NRNs; Immigration and Foreign Employment Issues; Knowledge and Technology Transfer; Open University; Problems faced by NRNs; NRN Success Stories; Collective Investment (Abroad and in Nepal); Collaborative Investment (Abroad and in Nepal); Multidisciplinary Collaborative Research; Nepalese Language and Culture Abroad; Issues of Nepali Women and Children Abroad; Contribution in Science and Health Sectors of Nepal.

Articles must maintain the following standards:
1.      Refrained from political partisanship.
2.      Non-injurious (direct or indirect) to any other individual or group.
3.      Written in Nepali or English language.
4.      Less than 1500 words.
5.      In Microsoft Word file. (Pictures in Separate File)
